On the other note, my brain is fried. After the first week of vigorous NaNoWriMo-ing, I was close to 15,000 words. That means I am a bit ahead of myself. Last Wednesday, my hands hurt again and I had to take a day off to recoup. I joined two write-ins during the weekend to push my word count up again. My goal is to finish 50,000 words before November 20th. Therefore, I have no reason to slack off. The end is near.

Also, this is what I've been doing so far.

I've been knitting "Fetching", a pair of fingerless gloves, to keep my hands warm. My hands tend to cramp up when I type a lot, y'all. Also, since it's been so cold lately, I guess I need a pair of fingerless gloves more than ever.

That's all for now, folks. I need to go dunk myself in a hot tub or something. My brain is not functioning, gah!

Recently, the kind folks from All You magazine sent me their latest Fashion and Beauty edition for reviewing and giving away. If you have not heard about this magazine, it is about living well without spending the big bucks. This Fashion & Beauty edition is the first of its kind to make its debut to the newsstand. At $5.99, it is packed full of tips and tricks as well as $37.75 worth of coupons.

First of all, this fashion and beauty edition features fashion and makeup products that are affordable. Most of the clothing pieces are under $25 and most of the makeup products are under $15. The makeup articles includes tips and tricks for fall makeup, which is not too far-fetched to me.

First of all, I have a confession: I messed up in the post order. The ELF eyelid primer post was supposed to be for today but an overzealous internet elf decided to give it a boost. Hence, it was posted a day earlier, which gave me an interesting predicament of what to do today.

So, I am just going to give everyone an update regarding your prize status: I sent them out today!

 I haven't shipped anything overseas for a while and this giveaway really burned a big hole in my pocket. Since when has shipping become so expensive? And domestic shipping is not that cheap, either. What's going on with the U.S Postal Services lately?

So winners, please watch out for your packages. They should arrive shorty, and by "shortly" I mean from a week to a month. Shipping overseas are notoriously unreliable and after they are out of my hand, I have no way to track them.

Remember this post? Well, the Target people sent me a $1 off coupon for me to purchase a reusable bag $1.49 and up. I picked this foldable bag and paid 49 cents and some change for it. It is really roomy and had enough space for those 3 packages. Neat, huh? Every time you use a red Target bag when you shop, you get a 5 cent discount. It is not a lot of incentive to buy the bag but to me, I guess I already got my money back :)

Last Wednesday was My Makeup Blog's Second Anniversary. Believe it or not, I was 500 miles away from home and therefore, didn't have a chance to celebrate this special event. Also, Yes to Carrots lip products are my most favorite organic lip stuff I've ever found. Some people compared the lip gloss to MAC lip gelee and I do agree.
